Membership Classes
- Regular: Applicant must be engaged in accounting for 2 or more years OR hold a valid CPA certificate OR hold a BA degree with a major in Accounting or equivalent. This class has full rights.
- Associate: Applicant may be a regularly enrolled student in post-secondary educational institution majoring in Accounting or equivalent OR actively engaged in accounting with less than 2 years experience. This class is limited to 2 years following attainment of qualifications for regular membership and a maximum of seven years. This class can vote and may hold elective office.
- Affiliate: Applicant is not actively engaged in accounting, yet should have a substantial interest in accounting. This class can vote and may hold elective office.
- Retired: Applicant is age 65 as of June 1 and a regular/associate member for shorter of 5 consecutive years or life of chapter OR is retired from all gainful employment due to disability as of June 1 OR is age 55 as of June 1 and retired from all gainful employment. This class has same rights as regular membership.
- Honorary: Applicant is outstanding woman whose professional achievements exemplify the standards encouraged by the mission statement and is approved by a 2/3 vote at the stated business meeting. The Chapter assumes the liability for National dues.
